We are an innovative high-tech spin-off from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. Our team has years of documented expertise in the field of material science and optical spectroscopy with a focus on SERS (surface-enhanced Raman scattering). We pioneered immuno-SERS microscopy in 2006 and developed the fastest SERS-based lateral flow assay with ultrabright and stable SERS nanotags in 2018. Our expertise is the rational design and synthesis of various gold and silver nanoparticles, their characterization and functionalization as well as their application in diagnostics and catalysis. Intellectual property is protected by several national and international patents on highly monodisperse, bright and stable metal colloids. Services we offer are a full characterization of our and/or your nanoparticles by various physical techniques (UV/Vis, TEM, DLS, zeta potential, Raman/SERS). We offer also the synthesis and characterization of custom-made nanoparticles for our customers´ applications.
